12 Days | Ssese Islands, Lake Bunyonyi, Gorillas, Queen Elizabeth And Chimps

Day1:
Arrive at the Airport where our representative will transfer you to Kampala for Safari briefing
at your hotel. Later in the evening, we start a city tour of Kampala which points out The Kasubi
Tombs, Uganda Martyrs Shrine, Museum and Later return to your hotel for overnight at either
Kampala Sheraton Hotel or Hotel Africana

Day 2:
Breakfast, then travel to the shores of Lake Victoria where a Ferry will transfer you to the Ssesse
Islands. Arrive in the early afternoon for an afternoon walk on the Sandy beaches before dinner
and overnight at either Palm Beach Hotel or Ssese Islands Beach Hotel.

Day 3:
Activities on this day feature fishing trip on the Lake where it is possible to catch a 150 pound
Nile Perch!!!, Canoeing, sunbathing, Swimming and Forest Walks. Night either at Palm Beach
Hotel or Ssese Islands Beach Hotel.

Day 4:
Breakfast early, then transfer to the ferry and proceed to Mbarara for Lunch before travelling to
Kabale. Arrive at the edge of Lake Bunyonyi and cross by speed boat for night stay at the Lake
Bunyonyi Hotel.

Day 5:
Take a canoe or speed boat trip on this beautiful Lake served as Leper Asylums in the early
1950’s. See the Local Fishermen Cray Fishing. Night stay at either the Bushara Island Camp or
Bunyonyi Overland Camp.

Day 6:
Breakfast early then travel to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park the Home to the Mountain
Gorillas. Arrive in time for lunch and there after, take an afternoon forest walk to the magnificent
Waterfalls. Look out for Blue Monkey, L’hoest monkey, Red Tailed Monkey, Colourful
Butterflies and the prolific birdlife. Dinner and Overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp or Mantana
Bwindi Camp.

Day 7:
Together with guide and gorilla trackers, start your 3 - 8 hour strenuous walk to find the Gentle
Mountain Gorillas. You will be allowed to sit as close as 5 Metres from these animals. Night stay
at Gorilla Forest Camp or Mantana Bwindi Camp.

Day 8:
Breakfast early and transfer to the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park Famous for
the tree climbing Lions. After a tour of the Hippo Pool, travel to Queen Elizabeth national Park
after a picnic lunch arriving at the Jacana Camp or Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 9:
Take an early morning game drive on the upper parts of the park. Tour the Salt mining area
of Katwe and later take a Launch Cruise on the Kazinga Channel to view the Wild animal as
they come down for a drink. Expect to see Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Uganda Kob, Waterbuck,
Crocodile and a host of water birds. Dinner and overnight at Jacana Camp or Mweya Safari
Lodge.

Day 10:
Travel to Fortportal for lunch before proceeding to the Edge of the Kibale Forest. Take a
nocturnal Walk in the Forest in search of the Pottos, Bushbabies, Galagos and the Nightjars.
Dinner and overnight at the Ndali Lodge or Mantana Camp

Day 11:
Morning in the Kibale Forest on a primate walk in hope of trailing the Chimpanzees and other
primates. This forest is a home to over 10 species of Primates. Later after lunch, travel to
Kampala for overnight at the Kampala Sheraton Hotel or Hotel Africana

Day 12:
Travel to the airport for departure.
