Day 1 - Nairobi/Amboseli
Morning drive to Amboseli Park at the foot of the snow
capped Mt Kilimanjaro. Lunch, then a game drive. Dinner and
overnight at a luxury lodge or similar.
Day 2 - Amboseli
Full day game drives next to Africa’s
highest mountain where you have an opportunity to see all
the ‘Big Five’ and a variety of other game. Dinner and
overnight at a luxury lodge or similar.
Day 3 - Amboseli/Tree Hotel
Game drive then drive via Nairobi to the Aberdares for an
exciting Tree Hotel or lodge overlooking floodlit
waterholes. Dinner and overnight at a luxury lodge or
similar.
Day 4 - Tree Hotel/Samburu
Continue north across the Equator to the edge of the
Northern Frontier into the
Samburu National Park. Dinner and overnight at a
luxury lodge or similar.
Day 5 - Samburu
Full day to enjoy the different scenery and wildlife
including Grevy’s zebra and reticulated giraffe. Dinner and
overnight at a luxury lodge or similar.
Day 6 - Samburu/Lake Nakuru
Morning drive via Thompson’s Falls at Nyahururu . Descend to
the floor of the Rift Valley. Lunch at
Lake
Nakuru, then enjoy a game
drive in the home of millions of flamingoes and over 400
species of other birds. Dinner and overnight at a luxury
lodge or similar.
Day 7 - Nakuru/Maasai Mara
Morning drive across the Rift Valley down to the Maasai
Mara. Lunch and later an afternoon game drive.
Dinner and overnight at a
luxury lodge or similar.
Day 8 - Maasai Mara
Full day to experience the Mara magic! Three game drives in
the Kenya’s premier reserve which is an extension of
Serengeti
National Park in
Tanzania. The Mara reserve
is the most popular in Kenya and it owes this to the
astounding concentration of game within the park all the
year round with the Wildebeest migration mainly in July and
August. A visit to the Maasai village can be arranged at an
extra cost for those who are interested. Dinner and
overnight at a luxury lodge or similar.
Day 9 Maasai Mara/Nairobi
Early morning game drive then the tour returns to Nairobi.
